Richard A. Baquero has long been respected for his intelligent integration of
interior design and architecture. His design philosophy combines the use of
refined materials, sophisticated color palettes and exceptional details.

With 20+ years in the interior design industry and a graduate of the
prestigious Parsons School of Design, Richard has worked with top New York
design firms such as Ronald F. Bradshaw Inc., The Venetor Group, RKA
Architects, and TPG-The Phillips Group before opening his own design firm,
RAB/ID, in 2001.

Since founding RAB/ID in Manhattan, Richard has designed an
extensive number of versatile projects, from the most elegant urban residences
to casual weekend retreats. He applies his experience with residential, retail,
hospitality and commercial interiors to all of this work. Richard's focus is on
luxury residential design where he is involved in taking on every aspect of the
design and construction process. He delves into every " detail of a project to
create a cohesive whole, crafting elegant, contemporary spaces, often mixed
with period styles.

Richard's talents reach beyond the aesthetic aspect of interior design. He has
an uncanny ability to create a perfect living space according to his client's
wants and unknowing needs. As Principal designer, he insists on the highest
level of quality for his clients, serving as the client's advocate throughout the
